These terms apply to participation in the DPSIM Forum, including topics, replies, profiles and any material submitted through forum features.

1. Acceptance of terms
By creating an account, accessing the forum, posting a topic, replying, uploading text or otherwise participating in the DPSIM Forum, you agree to these Forum Terms and Rules. If you do not agree, do not create an account or use the forum.
2. Purpose of the forum
The DPSIM Forum is provided for discussion of DPSIM software, DPSIM Static Module workflows, mineral process simulation, model setup, tutorials, documentation and related engineering topics. It is not a guaranteed support channel, consulting service, emergency support system, engineering certification service or professional review service.
3. No professional advice or reliance
Forum content is provided for general technical discussion only. Posts, replies, examples, model comments, calculations, assumptions and suggestions are not professional engineering advice, legal advice, safety advice, financial advice or a substitute for qualified review by responsible professionals. You are solely responsible for verifying any information before using it in a project, plant, report, decision, design, operation or commercial context.
4. User responsibility
You are responsible for your account, your posts and any consequences of using information from the forum. You must use appropriate engineering judgment, validation, testing, calibration, safety review and independent verification before relying on any model, parameter, workflow, file, result or recommendation discussed in the forum.
5. Confidential and sensitive information
Do not post confidential plant data, proprietary models, client information, personal data, trade secrets, restricted corporate files, export-controlled information, credentials, license keys, private contact details or any information you are not authorized to share publicly. DPSIM is not responsible for information you choose to disclose in the forum.
6. User-submitted content license
You retain ownership of content you submit, but you grant DPSIM and its site operators a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual license to host, display, reproduce, format, moderate, archive, quote, summarize, remove and use that content as reasonably necessary to operate, improve, document and protect the forum and DPSIM services. Do not submit content unless you have the right to grant this permission.
7. Prohibited content and conduct
- illegal, abusive, threatening, defamatory, discriminatory, harassing or hateful content;
- spam, advertising, scraping, automated posting or deceptive behavior;
- malware, exploit code, phishing, credential harvesting or attempts to compromise the site or users;
- posting confidential, personal, copyrighted or proprietary material without authorization;
- impersonation, misleading affiliation claims or false representation of authority;
- instructions intended to bypass software licensing, security controls, access controls or corporate policies;
- content that interferes with forum operation or harms DPSIM, EPM, users, clients or third parties.
8. Moderation rights
DPSIM may, at its sole discretion and without prior notice, edit, move, hide, remove, reject, archive or preserve any content; restrict posting; suspend or terminate accounts; block access; and take technical or legal measures to protect the forum, users, software, site, brand and operators. DPSIM has no obligation to monitor all content and no obligation to explain every moderation decision.
9. Files, links and downloads
Use caution with any files, links, macros, spreadsheets, scripts, projects or downloads mentioned by users. DPSIM does not guarantee that user-submitted files or links are safe, accurate, complete, compatible or suitable for any purpose. You are responsible for scanning, testing and validating any material before use.
10. Availability and changes
The forum may be changed, restricted, suspended, archived or discontinued at any time. Features, categories, accounts, posts and access rules may change without notice. DPSIM is not liable for downtime, data loss, removed content, delayed responses, unavailable registration, email delivery failure or forum changes.
11. No warranties
The forum and all forum content are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. DPSIM does not warrant accuracy, completeness, reliability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, uninterrupted access, error-free operation, security, or compatibility with any software, workflow, plant, model, report or engineering objective.
12. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, DPSIM, EPM, site operators, contributors and moderators are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary or punitive damages; loss of data; production loss; business interruption; engineering errors; project delays; safety incidents; third-party claims; or losses arising from forum access, forum content, user conduct, reliance on information, inability to access the forum, or moderation decisions.
13. Account and security
You must provide accurate registration information, keep your credentials secure and notify DPSIM if you suspect unauthorized account use. DPSIM may refuse, suspend or remove accounts that appear abusive, automated, misleading, compromised or inconsistent with these terms.
14. Privacy and registration records
When you register, the site may store account information and a record that you accepted these Forum Terms and Rules, including acceptance date, terms version and technical information associated with registration. This information may be used to operate the forum, manage accounts, reduce abuse, enforce terms and protect DPSIM.
15. Changes to these terms
DPSIM may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the forum after changes are published means you accept the updated terms. The effective date above identifies the current version.

For forum-related questions, use the contact options available on DPSIM.com or the forum itself. Do not use the forum to submit urgent, confidential or legally sensitive matters.
Small attachments and links
The forum may allow links and small attachments for technical discussion. Allowed attachment types and maximum size may change at any time. You are responsible for ensuring that links and files are safe, lawful, relevant, non-confidential and authorized for public sharing. DPSIM may remove attachments or links at its discretion and is not responsible for user-submitted files, external links, malware, incorrect files, confidential disclosures or third-party content.
