Developer learning materials
The tutorial develops understanding through a connected sequence of lessons. The manual documents individual functions for reference.
Tutorial: understanding a study
The lessons build on one another. Concepts are introduced before the interface exercise, and the exercise is followed by an interpretation of what was observed.
A project and its two workspaces
A simulation study combines a process model with a description of how it is operated. This lesson explains how Developer keeps those two parts together.
Lesson 2From material definitions to a process model
A connected drawing becomes a process model when its materials, quantities, equipment assumptions and starting conditions have a consistent meaning.
Lesson 3How study logic changes the process
The ROM feed example provides a concrete way to understand tags, commands, execution order and the difference between a command and a physical result.
Lesson 4From calculation settings to a recording
The calculation and its recording use different time bases. Understanding that distinction explains what Player will be able to show later.
Keep the manual nearby
Use the reference manual when you need a command, file-format distinction or explanation of a limit. It complements the exercises rather than repeating their steps.

Before you start
The lessons follow one chain of reasoning: define the material and equipment, connect script commands to their targets, choose calculation and recording intervals, then inspect the resulting recording in Player. The interface exercises are checkpoints for those relationships.
Begin with Developer and an independent copy of the startup project. Local authoring and saving do not require an account. Online dynamic execution requires connectivity and the current service allowance. A small base case is easier to explain: identify the feed, one material path and the quantities that the study is intended to compare.
See Downloads for current application availability. Player review guides cover the other side of the workflow.
